Morgan willams, amft

Patterns and the Freedom to Change Them

People come to Morgan feeling stuck — weighed down by trauma, anxiety, or patterns they've carried for years. Some of those patterns protected us once but no longer serve us. Morgan helps adults examine those patterns, reconnect mind and body, and make intentional choices moving forward. Clients describe her style as warm, empathetic, playful, and accessible. She draws on psychodynamic, person-centered, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches alongside neuroscience-backed mindfulness to help people break free from old narratives. Morgan sees individual adults and couples — online, and in person in Campbell and San Jose. She is supervised by Kent Campbell.

Therapy for Individuals

Whether you're moving through a major life transition, processing trauma, working with anxiety, or simply feeling trapped in a life that drains you, therapy can be a space to imagine new ways forward and embrace your whole self. Morgan works with individual adults of all backgrounds and dedicates the work to holding space for every part of your story — the parts that hurt, the parts that hope for more, and the parts that feel too hard to face alone.

Therapy for Creatives

Here in Silicon Valley the importance of details and logic are clear. At the same time, there are parts of each of us that are about creativity. Some of us dare to spend a lot of time with our creative parts, and want a therapist who can appreciate the value of art and beauty and spontaneity. Morgan relishes walking with  those who are finding their own way, if even outside the lines.

Couples Counseling

Morgan enjoys helping couples connect and communicate in healthy ways. She talks about how we need to find a balance between being ourselves and being in partnership — a balance that isn't easy.

An Affirming Space

Morgan is an ally to the LGBTQ+, non-binary, and queer communities and brings an identity-affirming, sex-positive lens to her work. She holds an M.A. in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and creates a space where every part of who you are is welcome.

Grief and Loss

Grief and loss can have a profound impact, whether it's the loss of a loved one, a job, or a dream. Morgan offers a steady, compassionate space to move through the grieving process at your own pace.
