About Elanah Kutik, LMFT

I use a compassionate approach and mindfulness-based strategies to support adults. I work on short-term life transitions, grieving loss, facing major medical issues, and addressing infidelity.

I view healing from a holistic perspective and draw on a variety of practices and orientations to meet my clients where they are. This includes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also enjoy bringing in playful and experiential practices to help shift clients out of their head and into more present ways of connecting with their authentic selves.

I also work with individuals evaluating whether to end a relationship, and I find special meaning in helping couples bring healthy closure to the end of a committed partnership. This discernment counseling helps both partners identify their own truth, express their views and hear their partner's experience in a manner that often leads to more intentional partings or more powerful recommitments to a relationship.

I lead a weekly counseling group centered upon divorce and the end of long-term relationships. I enjoy supporting couples facing infertility issues, managing bipolar disorder, and finding greater meaning from our busy lives.
